The youngsters are taking over the game for the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 12 showdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Seattle found the end zone for the first time on Sunday thanks to Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s massive first half. The second touchdown came courtesy of the defense.
Facing a 4th-and-1, the Cardinals decided to go for it. The ball was snapped, and the pass fell incomplete… only the play was blown dead at the last second, because right before the snap, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald called a time out. A sense of slight nervousness fell over the crowd as folks wondered if perhaps Macdonald made the right decision.
Turns out he did, and his safety Coby Bryant helped prove it. On 4th down, Kyler Murray’s pass sailed right over the head over wide open receiver Michael Wilson and into the waiting arms of Bryant.

Unfortunately, Devon Witherspoon was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, and the 15-yard penalty was enforced on the PAT. The extra yardage tacked on proved to be a detriment, as the usually sure-footed Jason Myers did miss the PAT attempt. The score remained 13-3 in favor of Seattle.
Still, the Seahawks defense has sucked the life out of Arizona thus far. At the moment, it is still the third quarter and the Seahawks lead by 10.
