NEW DELHI: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar brought the coveted World Cup trophy to the field before India's match against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

Tendulkar, the global ambassador for ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, walked onto the field of his home ground to loud chants of "SACHIN!! SACHIN!!" from the crowd.
