Watch: Ryanair plane skids landing at Dublin Airport due to strong winds from Storm Dudley

Storm Dudley Ryanair Dublin Airport Ireland

An avid plane-watcher caught the moment a Ryanair plane attempted to land in Dublin Airport during Storm Dudley - with the aircraft skidding along the tarmac as it tried to get its wheels down.

Gusts of over 100km/h were recorded in some parts of Ireland on Wednesday as Storm Dudley raged across the country.

It caused havoc on the nation's roads and in both the seas and the skies of Ireland.
