Ohio State finally went out did what many expected it to do on the offensive side of the football, gaining a bushel of yards and scoring a bunch of points in a 63-10 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday afternoon.
It looked like all aspects of the game were clicking. The running game was finding holes and lanes to gain chunks of yards. The passing game was efficient and explosive. The defense held a high-flying passing attack more or less in check.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsAt the end, OSU head coach Ryan Day had to be much more satisfied with this performance than what he saw the first two weeks of the season, and that was reflected in his postgame press conference.
If you missed any of what Day said, you can get caught up thanks to video obtained from the Ohio State Buckeyes Facebook page below. He discussed the week of practice leading up to the game, the way Kyle McCord played, the defensive effort, the offensive explosion and more.
Next week is the big one. Ohio State begins preparations to go on the road and face a very talented Notre Dame squad next Saturday. The entire nation will be watching.
