Ohio State has had a couple of weeks to sit and chew on the heartbreaking loss to Oregon a couple of Saturdays ago. Now, it’s time to get going and get things going for the home stretch in trying to run the table to be in position to win the Big Ten championship and earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.
But first things first, the Buckeyes have to host a Nebraska team that looks much improved from what we’ve seen over the last few seasons (aside from last week against Indiana).
Head coach Ryan Day isn’t thinking ahead and knows Ohio State has to be ready to play against the Cornhuskers and not forget to compete each and every week. He met with the media on Tuesday as he does every week to discuss where the team is and to preview what to expect from Nebraska.
We’ve got all of his comments here thanks to the Columbus Dispatch YouTube Channel. Click on play and listen to Day discuss the deficiencies against Oregon, the play of Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola, the issues on defense, and more.
Ohio State and Nebraska are set for kickoff at Noon ET on Saturday. We’ll have coverage before, during, and after the contest, so come back often.
