NEW DELHI: Top-order batter Ruturaj Gaikwad was on Friday named the Indian men's cricket team captain, who will be leading a 15-member squad in the Hangzhou Asian Games in September.

Thrilled about captaining India, the talented 26-year-old said that the aim would be to win the gold medal and ensure India's national anthem is played at the podium.
