NEW DELHI: After arriving in Perth, India's captain Rohit Sharma wasted no time in hitting the nets as the team, under the guidance of his deputy Jasprit Bumrah, gradually edged to a resounding victory against Australia in the first Test.

Rohit was on a paternity leave and reached Perth on Sunday night. During Monday's lunch session, he was observed batting in the nets against reserve pacers Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal, and Navdeep Saini.
