It’s an exciting time to be a Detroit Lions fan. The positive energy and excitement hit a fever pitch on Sunday night when news broke that the Lions were signing free agent safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Bringing in one of the most prominent remaining free agents, and doing so at a seemingly below-market contract, almost seemed too good to be true. In that spirit, I wanted to sleep on the news and process it a little more before posting a reaction.
