You might recall the 2017 Miami Hurricanes and their very ostentatious “turnover chain.” If you were a Hurricanes defender and forced a turnover, you would be honored to wear an oversized and “flashy” gold chain.
This led to a turnover prop chain sweeping across college football for the next few years, with the apex being, arguably, Oregon State’s turnover chainsaw.
The Baltimore Ravens now have their own familial gold chain to be passed around, although it officially belongs to MVP Lamar Jackson.
Star safety Kyle Hamilton wore the chain during a sideline interview during tonight’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“This is Lamar’s chain, technically, but it’s a communal chain,” Hamilton explained to the reporter.
“So whoever’s on TV gets to wear the chain. It’s a Ravens’ chain- appreciate Lamar for letting me wear it.”

On this team, Kyle Hamilton is the king of deadpan delivery. You have to love his dry sense of humor.
