Rangers striker Kevin Kelsy has scored his first goal for Venezuela during a defeat to Japan.
Fresh from netting his first for the Ibrox club during the thumping 3-0 win over Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup, the 22-year-old was called up for international duty.
He was named in the starting XI for the friendly against the Japanese, earning his seventh cap.
And it started well as he scored the opening goal of the game. His teammate Luis Balbo was fed the ball on the lett hand side, and he got past a Japan defender by nutmegging him, then managed to hold off the recovering tackle.

Balbo then played a ball across the edge of the box for Kelsy to stride on to, and the Rangers man connected well with a left foot shot which was accurately aimed into the bottom right corner, away from the dive of Zion Suzuki.
However, the Samurai Blue recovered and hit back to win the game through goals from Ayase Ueda. The first came just three minutes after Kelsy's opener before a winner in second half stoppage time.
Kelsy will now hope to get the nod to face Min-su Kim's South Korea on Friday.
