Celtic target Gvidas Gineitis helped create a stunning Che Adams goal as Torino opened their Serie A season with a 2-1 defeat to AC Milan.

The Lithuanian midfielder swung a free-kick into the penalty area that led to former Scotland striker Adams' spectacular finish.

However, it wasn't enough to spark a Torino comeback, with Milan holding firm for the points. The 22-year-old has emerged as a leading target for the Scottish champions, who are expected to step up their pursuit after Tuesday's Champions League play-off.

Torino are believed to value Gineitis at around £9 million, with Celtic keen to add strength and athleticism to their midfield.
