Watch Paulo Bernardo score another absolute belter for Portugal Under-21s

Celtic midfielder Paulo Bernardo has scored a number of important goals at club level since moving to Glasgow's east end last year – and he's consistently extended that eye for goal at international level.

Currently playing for Portugal's Under-21s side, the 22-year-old (born in January 2002) has hit a number of top-class goals while representing his country in recent months, the latest of which came last night (Friday, October 11) against the Faroe Islands.

After going down 1-0 in the third minute, Portugal pulled level on 38 via Fabio Silva. Gabriel Bras fired them in front in the 87th minute, before Bernardo sealed the deal two minutes later when he hammered the ball with the inside of his foot to the right of goal into the far-left corner.

Since joining on loan last season, and thereafter signing permanently this summer, Bernardo has gone from strength to strength – at Celtic and Portugal's Under-21s.

Between himself, Reo Hatate and Arne Engels, Brendan Rodgers has a wealth of options in Celtic's midfield. Goals like this while away on international duty are bound to impress the manager.

Celtic return to domestic action next Saturday (October 19) against Aberdeen at Celtic Park.
