The Carolina Panthers are throwing some haymakers in their big bout against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On their fourth possession of the afternoon, the Panthers pieced together an aggressive eight-play, 57-yard touchdown drive—which accounted for their second visit to the end zone. This trip ended in the hands of wide receiver DJ Moore, who reeled in a beauty of a loft from quarterback Sam Darnold.

Moore’s 24-yard catch helped give the Panthers a 14-0 lead at the 7:51 mark of the second quarter. It was also Darnold’s second tuddy toss on Sunday, with the first coming on a 17-yard strike to tight end Tommy Tremble on the opening touch of the contest.
To that point, Darnold completed eight of his 11 passes for 112 yards—good enough for an average of 10.2 yards per attempt. The fifth-year passer has led the league in yards per attempt (8.6) since taking over the starting role back in Week 12.
