The much anticipated series ‘Receiver’ premiered Wednesday on Netflix. The show follows five NFL receivers on and off the field. Those featured are 49ers WR Deebo Samuel and TE George Kittle, Lions WR Amon Ra St Brown, Vikings WR Justin Jefferson and Raiders WR Davante Adams.
The first episode was entirely about Samuel, Kittle, and St Brown. But some the second episode, the focus shifted to Jefferson and Adams.
When the episode reaches actual games, they begin with the Raiders’ 2023 home opener against the Steelers. Things got off to an hilarious start the moment Adams arrived at the stadium when he found out that what he thought was going to be the freshest fit on the team, turned out to be shared by his ‘twin’ on the other side of the ball.

The funniest part was his wife’s reaction after the game. He didn’t even have to say who the player was who showed up in the same outfit. It was Maxx Crosby. And it wasn’t the first time.
The term ‘Brother from another mother’ comes to mind. Gotta love it.
