The Cleveland Browns are up early against the New York Jets due in no small part to the play of their defense. Star defensive end Myles Garrett has been a key piece for them in the Week 2 matchup and came up with a clutch sack of Joe Flacco to put him within half a sack of the franchise record.
Check out the play here that has Garrett within striking distance of history:

Since joining the Browns in 2017, Garrett has been one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL and is a constant threat to every quarterback he faces. With more plays like this one, Cleveland could put themselves in full control of this matchup well before the fourth quarter whistle.
If he can get to Flacco one more time, Garrett will have sole possession of the Browns’ franchise sack record, passing Clay Matthews.
This sack set up a strip sack by Jadeveon Clowney later in the drive to give the Browns possession with a chance to go up by two scores in the second quarter. After kicking off to start the game, Cleveland will receive the second-half kick with a chance to pile on in their effort to escape this matchup undefeated with a 2-0 record.
