MSU Hockey Michigan State Spartans

Michigan State hockey went on the road to open the 2024-25 hockey season to face off against the Lake Superior State Lakers, where the Spartans found themselves as 2-1 winners in thrilling fashion.

The Spartans and Lakers needed extra time to finish their season opening matchup.

Watch the game winning goal from Daniel Russell assisted by Isaac Howard and Matt Basgall to give MSU their first win of the season.
