New Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has had an extremely busy offseason.
He moved from San Francisco to Miami to accept this new role, and, since then, the Dolphins have been making front-page news nearly every week by signing, re-signing, releasing, extending or trading for players.
On Saturday, however, McDaniel got to take some time to enjoy the “Luau with Tua” charity event put on by his starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s foundation with a number of his players.
One of the highlights of the night was the head coach taking part in the ceremonies on stage and learning to play the drums.
And for fun – here’s a minute of Mike McDaniel learning to properly play the drums. Safe to say he is embracing the Polynesian culture this evening 🥁 #Dolphins pic.twitter.com/jj4q1mvB4m

McDaniel’s personality can light up a room, and it was on full display at this event that benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters.
