Matthew Stafford has always been great against the blitz, and that showed once again on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. On a key third-and-goal from the Ravens’ 6-yard line, Stafford beat the Ravens’ blitz and tossed a beautiful touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp.
It was an anticipation throw by Stafford, who had a rusher in his face, lofting it into the end zone well before Kupp was even at the top of his route. Kupp located the ball, got under it and hauled it in for six points, giving the Rams a 10-7 lead.
