Welcome back, Marshon Lattimore. The standout New Orleans Saints cornerback made the play of the day with his fourth-quarter interception of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew — which he returned for a defensive touchdown to extend New Orleans’ lead late in regulation. Wil Lutz hammered the extra point and the Saints took over 20-10. This was just the second touchdown Lattimore has scored in the NFL after scoring a pick-six back in his 2017 rookie season.
It’s a heck of a return to form for Lattimore after abdominal injuries (including two broken ribs and a lacerated kidney) kept him out of action since early October. He missed nearly three months in recovery before getting back on the field, but good on him for making the most of this opportunity to come through when his team needed him most.
