Watch: Marnus Labuschagne chases away pigeons at the MCG

NEW DELHI: Pigeons have been a regular feature at the Melbourne Cricket Ground since generations and the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan was no different.

With Australia at 121/2 and Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne at the crease, pigeons decided to descend right behind the umpire disturbing the concentration of

Smith who was on strike at that time.

Labuschagne decided to take matters in his hands and chased down the pigeons to clear the field.

Even Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali had to run and shoo away the pigeons much to the amusement of the crowd and the commentators at the MCG.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and opted to bowl against Australia who are looking to seal the three-Test series after thumping the visitors by 360 runs in Perth.
