The New England Patriots struggled to score points on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. New England’s first touchdown came courtesy of a stellar defensive play from safety Kyle Dugger.
Buy Patriots TicketsThe play came early in the third quarter when Las Vegas had the football on offense. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw a screen pass, and Dugger read the play quickly. He was able to intercept the pass and take it to the end zone for the touchdown. The score cut Las Vegas’ lead to seven in the process.
For Dugger, this was his fifth interception of his career and the first this season.

Both offenses have struggled to score all afternoon. The interception could prove to loom large, as New England looks to stay afloat in the playoff picture.
