For six years, Kay Adams has held down the host chair of “Good Morning Football” and the NFL Network morning show has become a staple in so many households across the country.
On Friday, she gave her final sign-off as the host of the program and it was a touching one.
Adams announced on Thursday that Friday’s show would be her last. She’s following Nate Burleson, who also left for CBS Mornings about nine months ago. Peter Schrager and Kyle Brandt are still with the show.
There are no immediate announcements as far as what is next on her career path but she made it clear she was incredibly grateful for this moment.

“Our entire staff, past to present and future, the show goes on. The sentiment of the show does not end. And thanks to the NFL fans who choose us. I am so blown away by the love, like, overwhelmed. So thank you so much. So, you see, it’s not for people who love football or fun. It was never that. It’s this perfect conflation of magic. So thank you to every person who has ever touched this show or has ever spent time with us. I’m really grateful. I don’t have answers to where I’m going or where you’ll see me next, but I really just have deep gratitude, so thank you guys.”
As far as what’s next, some have speculated that she could potentially go to Amazon and join their Thursday Night Football crew.
Kay Adams makes it official, but you already knew. Amazon still possible as next move. https://t.co/t8BLdoqSNN https://t.co/5jmDj1sNdQ
