It’s not uncommon for fans of other teams to want to get a photograph or autograph of the opposing team’s quarterback. And when your opponent’s quarterback is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft. That’s even more understandable.
That quarterback is Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders.
This week, the Commanders were in Florham Park, New Jersey, for a joint practice with the New York Jets. There were fans in attendance. Before practice, some fans were on the field looking to get a picture with Washington’s quarterback.
Only it wasn’t Daniels. No, it was undrafted rookie Sam Hartman.

Perhaps the most popular #4 QB in the NFL right now, the Washington Commanders Sam Hartman, at 1 Jets Drive today. #GoIrish☘️ pic.twitter.com/aVSNjTV7dO

Were these Jets fans just fans of Hartman? He has his fan club of admirers. Or, perhaps they were Notre Dame fans. Hartman played his final season at Notre Dame.
As Leberfeld stated, no more popular No. 3 or No. 4 quarterback in the NFL exists. The Commanders should start selling Hartman merchandise.
