NEW DELHI: The last few days have been challenging for wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan after not being selected for Afghanistan T20Is, with reports surfacing about his conduct during a break and apparently leaving the Indian team management and selectors dissatisfied.
However, chief coach Rahul Dravid made it clear, rubbishing the media reports, during the pre-match presser of the India-Afghanistan first T20 in Mohali, stating Ishan requested a break due to mental fatigue, which the team management approved.
