The crowd erupted into cheers as the song 'Sabse aage honge Hindustani' echoed through the stadium, igniting a frenzy of dancing and celebration. Welcomed with a resounding 'Vanakkam Chennai,' the IPL 2024 opening ceremony kicked off with a bang.

Following the dynamic performances by Akshay and Tiger, the soulful rendition of 'Vande Mataram' by playback maestro Sonu Nigam stirred patriotic fervor, with every heart in the stadium swelling with pride as the Indian flag fluttered proudly above.

The legendary music composor AR Rahman took the stage next, delivering an unforgettable performance of 'Maa Tujhe Salam' alongside Mohit Chauhan, followed by the infectious beats of 'Balle Laka' from Rajinikanth's blockbuster.
