Logan Bruss went up against some of the best pass rushers in the country when he was at Wisconsin, playing the last three-plus years in the Big Ten. One of them was Aidan Hutchinson of Michigan, who went second overall to the Detroit Lions.
The Rams’ new offensive lineman more than held his own against Hutchinson in the games they squared off. That shouldn’t surprise anyone because Bruss allowed just one sack in the last three years, excelling in pass protection.
There were clips shared on Twitter of Bruss battling Hutchinson in college and it reflects well on the Rams’ third-round pick. He showed good technique and power against the talented Michigan pass rusher.
Here are some of the highlights from that matchup.

Hutchinson crosses Bruss's face here but a nice strong arm allows him to get back in front for an extra second and the throw comes out clean. pic.twitter.com/w3tBdbdqhA

Probably a hold but insane grip strength from Bruss on number two pick Aidan Hutchinson pic.twitter.com/rGs3l54hlO
