NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli was booed by the Aussie fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground when he came on to bat after Tea on the second day of the Boxing Day Test on Friday.
Virat was involved in a shoulder-bump confrontation with Sam Konstas on Day 1 and was fined 20 percent of his match fees and given a demerit point by the ICC for a Level One breach of the ICC code of conduct. So the hostile reception by the Aussies was more than expected.
