The Cleveland Browns are set for a big-time boost with running back Nick Chubb set to return from his devastating injury over one year ago.
And while he may not be back in time to play against the Washington Commanders this Sunday in what feels like a must-win game, the Browns did get him and two others back at practice, opening their 21-day window to return to the 53-man roster.
Kudos to the Browns’ social media team, capturing Chubb’s return to the practice field as he puts on the cleats and a helmet for the first time since he was carted off the field in Pittsburgh in Week 2 of 2023. It’s a moment for Chubb, but as one can see in the video, it’s a moment for his teammates as well.
Every one of them is greeting Chubb with a welcome back as he makes his way onto the practice field on Wednesday. Could this be just the boost the Browns need entering Week 5 to get their season back on track?
