Wanted duo Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic gifted their Celtic tops to a pair of lucky ball kids after their side's bruising Viaplay Cup semi-final win over Kilmarnock.
Manager Ange Postecoglou soaked up the acclaim from his adoring public as the two men at the centre of multiple transfer links presented some youngsters with potentially valuable merchandise in the years to come. Both removed their tops and gave to chuffed ball kids as they exited a stormy national stadium pitch last.
And the lucky youngsters weren't done yet as one of them earned a picture with Postecoglou as the Parkhead boss instructed him to come over and get the snap. Speaking after the game, the Celtic boss was keen to stress after the game both players remain in the team on merit and no interest in either man has escalated to the stage where he needs to make a decision.
Giakoumakis is wanted in across Europe and beyond and Record Sport revealed talks over a new Parkhead deal reached an impasse and a potential exit is now on the cards. But the striker showed no signs of letting transfer talk take hold as he netted the second – moments after receiving a reprieve over a potential penalty at the other end of the pitch.
And Juranovic's future is also up in the air with multiple options open for a player who is basking in the glow of a brilliant World Cup campaign for Croatia which has led to the likes of Roma, Chelsea and Manchester United being namechecked. The 27-year-old was in from the start against Derek McInnes' time in the place of a toiling Alistair Johnston who could only make the bench.
Celtic were the winners, of course, as they reached an incredible sixth League Cup Final in seven season but so were the youngsters whose newly-found memorabilia could go up in value depending on what happens in the coming days. You can watch the classy display from Giakoumakis, Juranovic and their manager in the player above.
