Every player in the NBA has a story about trying to slow Steph Curry. The Golden State Warriors star has a reputation for being one of the most difficult players to keep in check. Curry’s non-stop movement, elite shot-making and crafty changes of speed are factors in his ability to create space and generate shooting opportunities for himself or his teammates.
No players understand Curry’s greatness more than those who dealt with him day in and day out in Golden State’s practice sessions. A recent video clip of Gary Payton II and Jonathan Kuminga discussing their difficulty containing the four-time NBA champion has surfaced on social media.

Payton can be heard discussing Curry’s greatness. He notes how no other player in the NBA boasts the star guard’s skills regarding movement and shooting ability. Usually, it’s either one or the other. Payton then watches Curry hit a difficult shot before jokingly stating he “can’t stand” Curry.
