Chaotic scenes unfolded at the end of Celtic and Rangers' dramatic SWPL 1 derby as tensions boiled over at Broadwood.
Celtic manager Fran Alonso appeared to be headbutted by Rangers assistant Craig McPherson after Caitlin Hayes' 99th minute leveller sealed a 1-1 draw for the Hoops, with Brogan Hay's goal not enough to seal three Light Blues points. Players were undertaking their customary handshakes at the end of the game when the former Morton player strode towards his opposition and seemingly planted his head on him from behind.
Rangers manager Malky Thomson hadn't seen the incident but insisted their will be a full investigation into the matter if that was the case. And footage from Sky Sports shows McPherson being pulled away by Celtic players and coaches while Alonso's own players held him back, as his side sit a point above their rivals in second but now Glasgow City have full control of the title race.
It was also claimed by the away manager at Broadwood that he had been called a 'little rat.' Here is the incident as it was caught by the TV cameras.
