The Miami Dolphins won the opening coin toss against the Washington Commanders and opted to receive the ball in the second half.
After forcing Washington to punt, Miami took over from their 14-yard line. They then completed a quick pass to Jaylen Waddle for five yards, and Raheem Mostert rushed for three on the second play.
On the third, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit wide receiver Tyreek Hill on a long bomb for a 78-yard touchdown.
