South Alabama product Darrell Luter Jr. is a prospect that the San Francisco 49ers showed obvious interest in during the pre-draft process, and could figure into their plans in the defensive backfield for years to come. A small-school product, he isn’t the most recognized in the class, but his talent is undeniable.
San Francisco waited as long as they could before feeling the need to finally get their guy before any other team had a chance.
Check out his best collegiate highlights below to get familiar with Luter’s game as he looks to make a huge impact for the 49ers in 2023:

Love this rep from South Alabama CB Darrell Luter Jr.
Teach tape on how to stay square and play with patience from a catch-man technique.
He has some of the best patience I have seen among defensive backs in this years class.
A mid round prospect that has my attention‼️✅ pic.twitter.com/ID32NTBoC6

👌🏻CB Darrell Luter Jr could be a really nice addition to your roster !
Nice back pedal technique, nice fluid hips, quick feet and can play the ball.
I would like to see him in a zone cover system, I saw him too much in off-man because of his lacks of speed.
Day 3 talent ! pic.twitter.com/BtT7R9FZQp
