The official trailer for the “Road House” remake has been released.
Prime Video posted a teaser of the upcoming movie, which features lead actor Jake Gyllenhaal and UFC star Conor McGregor. The remake of the 1989 film starring Patrick Swayze is directed by Doug Liman and is set to premiere March 21.
Gyllenhaal plays ex-UFC fighter Dalton, who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida road house. McGregor plays Knox, Dalton’s “nemesis.” The trailer shows Gyllenhaal brawling with McGregor after the former two-division champion headbutts him.
Multiple scenes involving Gyllenhaal were filmed in front of a live crowd during the weekend of UFC 285 in March 2023. “Road House” is McGregor’s acting debut.

According to McGregor, he will make his long-anticipated UFC return this summer vs. Michael Chandler on June 29 in Las Vegas. “The Notorious” hasn’t competed since breaking his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
