Monday was a big day around the NFL as several teams began their offseason program. That meant, for the first time since the season ended, players were back at team headquarters, with incoming free agents working out with their new teams for the first time.
The Washington Commanders were one of those NFL teams to report to work Monday, and yes, that included defensive end Chase Young. No one necessarily expected Young to skip the voluntary portion of the offseason program, but his status has been a topic of conversation since head coach Ron Rivera said the team hasn’t decided if it would pick up Young’s fifth-year option for 2024.
