Chris Jones took matters into his own hands in Week 11 when he sacked quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 11 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
After an uncharacteristic Patrick Mahomes interception, Philadelphia took over possession near its own 20-yard line with a chance to take the lead. Jones wasn’t about to let his team fall behind and managed to wrangle Hurts to the turf twice in three plays to keep momentum on Kansas City’s side.
Check out Jones’ exceptional efforts here, and notice his explosiveness off the line of scrimmage as he brought Hurts down:

Plays like these have made Jones one of the top defenders in the NFL and will aid in his campaign to make good on the contract incentives that he held out for earlier in the season.
Expect Jones to continue making Hurts’ life miserable in the pocket as Kansas City looks to earn its eighth win of the season in this Super Bowl LVII rematch.
