WATCH: Brighton 1-3 Crystal Palace Highlights

Trevoh Chalobah and Ismaila Sarr were on the scoresheet as Crystal Palace came out on top against Brighton in Sunday’s M23 derby, and you can find the full match highlights below.

Palace Cruise To Victory On South Coast

Looking to extend their unbeaten run to five straight matches in the Premier League, Crystal Palace headed to the Amex to face rivals Brighton in the M23 derby on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles got off to a flying start, with Trevoh Chalobah opening the scoring after 27 minutes. Will Hughes’ whipped corner bounced off of the body of Ismaila Sarr, and Chalobah was quickest to react, smashing home from close range.

Six minutes later, Sarr doubled the visitors’ advantage, heading in at the far post from Tyrick Mitchell’s cross to send the away end into raptures.

Brighton failed to respond, with the score standing at 2-0 heading into the half-time break.

It went from bad to worse for the Seagulls in the second period, as Sarr doubled his tally on the day to put Palace 3-0 up. The Senegalese forward latched onto Eddie Nketiah’s flick on and coolly slotted away beyond Bart Verbruggen to seal all three points on the south coast.

The home fans were provided a glimmer of hope in the 86th minute after Marc Guehi netted an own-goal to make it 3-1, however it was too little too late for Fabian Hurzeler’s side as Palace prevailed with a comfortable victory.

Oliver Glasner’s side move up to 15th place in the Premier League table, climbing above Leicester City and Everton, meanwhile Brighton drop down to ninth after going winless in four successive matches.

WATCH: Brighton 1-3 Crystal Palace Highlights

Brighton return to league action with a trip to the capital to take on West Ham next weekend, while Palace take on Arsenal in back-to-back matches, first in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Wednesday, and then in the league on Saturday.

The UK’s best football betting sites now have Palace at around 10/1 to be relegated this term, with Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester leading the market as favourites to suffer the drop.
