For the first time since being shot twice on Aug. 28, Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson was back on the practice field with teammates.

Robinson was back with his teammates last week, riding a stationary bike at practice alongside defensive end Chase Young.
Robinson is on the non-football injury [NFI] list and is out for the first four games of the 2022 season. He is eligible to return for Washington’s Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans. In his place, Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic have shared running back duties. Once Robinson returns, the Commanders would like to use Gibson more in the passing game to take advantage of his ability in space.
The Commanders host the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East showdown Sunday from FedEx Field.
