Boston Celtics Hall of Fame center Robert Parish may not be in the public eye to quite the degree he was when hanging banners in Boston with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Danny Ainge, but that does not mean that the famed big man isn’t keeping tabs on his former ball club or the league.
In a recent interview with the Celtics Wire, Parish talked about the NBA’s 75th anniversary, the 2022 All-Star Game and which current Celtics he thinks might make it, and what advice he has for fellow Louisiana native Robert Williams III as a player and fellow big man.
Chief even talks about how he played for 21 seasons in a league so many leave so soon and hinted he might be interested in coaching should the right opportunity come along.
