Wide receivers who score together, do the Griddy together. And once you do the Griddy together, you’re bonded forever.
So it wasn’t much of a surprise to see wideouts Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, who were teammates from 2020 to 2022, reunite ahead of this afternoon’s matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings.

Thielen, who signed a three-year deal with the Panthers, will be playing his former employer for the first time since his release this spring. The Detroit Lakes, Minn. native spent a decade with the Vikings—a tenure that yielded a pair of Pro Bowl nods as well as the fourth-most receiving yards in franchise history.
The 33-year-old admitted earlier this week that it’ll be odd facing his old friends.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be interesting,” he told reporters on Wednesday. “It’s already been a little bit weird, honestly. Startin’ the game plan, talkin’ about the defense and then seein’ ’em on tape. I’ve never, obviously, game-planned for our defense—or the Vikings defense, I should say.”
Yeah, hopefully Adam has that straight now.
