The Warzone 2 update for Season 3 has dropped, bringing with it a range of new maps, weapons, operators, game modes, and cosmetics.
Season 3 continues the ongoing faction war across the game's DMZ mode. On top of that, Plunder mode is getting a big update, along with a new 1v1 Gulag: Blacksite. Season 3 also adds Massive Resurgence, a larger-scale variant of the fan-favorite Resurgence mode., as well as new Perk Packs and the addition of Redeploy Drones to Al Mazrah.

The latest trailer shows off Warzone Season 3's action-packed story in which fan-favorite characters Alejandro and Valeria. After the events of Modern Warfare 2, ruthless cartel leader Valeria escaped capture, prompting Alejandro to set off in pursuit, hoping to settle their old score.

Warzone 2 update new content
New weapons
The Warzone 2 update for Season 3 brings a pair of fresh new weapons to the battlefield.
The first is the FJX Imperium Sniper Rifle. It's a precise, hard-hitting bolt-action sniper rifle that hits like a truck. Its .408 rounds are designed for anti-personnel destruction.
The second is the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle. This one's a bullpup-loading semi-automatic rifle designed for longer-distance engagements and boasts an impressive damage output.
New Operators
The Warzone 2 update for Season 3 brings with it not one but two new operators: Valeria Garza and Alejandro Vargas. Fans of Modern Warfare 2 will recall how these two once worked together in the Mexican Special Forces. However, those times are well and truly in the past, since Valeria has since risen to become El Sin Nombre, the leader of the Las Almas Cartel, while Alejandro has thrown his lot in with Task Force 141.
Both operators can be unlocked by purchasing the Battle Pass.
New event
Starting April 14, players will be able to enjoy the new Trophy Hunt event.
For the duration of the event, players will drop Trophies when eliminated. Also found through loot, Trophies can be exchanged for items shown in the Events tab, including weapon blueprints, vehicle skins, and Battle Pass Token Teir Skips. If you redeem enough items, you'll even be able to unlock some exclusive Operator Skins.
Be advised, however, that Trophies must be collected and secured at an Upload Station in order to be added to your bank, so be careful out there.
Warzone 2 update patch notes
