With the 2023 NBA draft in the rear view mirror, it’s officially time for the NBA Summer League to get underway. Before setting their sights on Las Vegas, the Golden State Warriors will make a stop in Sacramento for the fifth annual edition of the California Classic.
The Warriors will play a pair of games in the California Classic before making their way to Las Vegas for the remainder of Summer League. Before the Warriors suit up for Summer League, the team announced their roster for the upcoming stretch of games.
First round pick Brandin Podziemski and second round pick Trayce Jackson-Davis will headline the Warriors roster alongside a few familiar faces. The California Classic and Summer League will mark the debuts of Podziemski and Jackson-Davis in blue and gold.
Second round pick from 2022 Gui Santos will be on the floor for the Warriors for his second consecutive appearance in the Summer League. The roster will also feature 2022-23 two-way guard Lester Quinones. After winning the G League’s Most Improved Player award, the Memphis product played in four regular season games for the Warriors last season.
