When the Golden State Warriors acquired Andrew Wiggins via trade, he was seen as a potential draft bust who wasn’t living up to his first overall selection. However, since playing under Steve Kerr and being surrounded by a championship mentality, Wiggins has developed into one of the best three-and-d wings in the entire NBA.
Wiggins is at his best when operating as a point-of-attack defender on the perimeter and has proven capable of locking down some of the league’s premier offensive talent. As such, Bleacher Report’s staff writers have positioned Wiggins as the 13th-best wing in the league.
Interestingly, Wiggins is only one spot behind rumored target O.G. Anunoby, who was voted 14th but has been placed behind 2023 Rookie of the Year and current Team USA standout Paolo Banchero, who was ranked 11th by Bleacher Report.
These rankings come hot on the heels of Bleacher Report’s top-30 guards, where Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Chris Paul all made the list.
