ATLANTA — As he wrapped up a weeklong bus tour, U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock made back-to-back stops highlighting a critical goal of his campaign: reenergize the diverse coalition of voters who helped lift him to a narrow win in 2021.
In the span of just five hours on Friday, the Democrat headlined a rally for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Duluth, visited with Latinos in Lilburn and capped it off in Atlanta with members of the “Divine Nine,” the National Pan-Hellenic Council composed of Black fraternities and sororities.
“We’ve empowered so-called low propensity voters, people that other people have written off. And we’ve built a massive multiracial coalition of conscience,” Warnock said under a gazebo at Shorty Howell Park in Duluth.
