The fire and rescue service has warned people to be careful what they leave in their cars on hot, sunny days. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called into action after a car caught fire - from sunglasses being left on the dashboard.
They reminded drivers and passengers to keep reflective objects out of direct sunlight or risk having a very bad day. They tweeted: "The sun has been strong but beware this can cause fire. Earlier we attended a fire caused by sunglasses left on the dashboard. Make sure you keep reflective objects out of direct sunlight."
