Guinness distributor Diageo has warned customers to be aware of a Father’s Day scam doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
If you are rushing to look for a good Father’s Day present, this message might jump out at you as it offers anyone who clicks the link a chance to get a free mini-fridge of Guinness. Sounds good, but all isn't as it might seem.
The drinks company is urging people to be aware that the Guinness competition being sent to people on the messaging app is not genuine and that anyone who received a message purporting to be from the company is advised not to open the link.
