After enduring a prolonged stretch of cold and wintry weather, there is finally some good news on the horizon. Although it remains chilly across many regions of the country, there are signs of improvement that will bring warmer temperatures in the coming days.
Currently, the coldest temperatures can be found in the middle of the country, particularly in the Midwest. Chicago, for example, is experiencing a frigid 16 degrees, and when factoring in the wind chill, it feels like a bone-chilling 3 degrees. Even southern areas such as Dallas and Atlanta are not exempt from the cold, with temperatures dropping below freezing and wind chills in the 20s.
