Police have named the man who died following a collision in Co Down as Paul Grant.
In a brief statement, the PSNI said: “Police can confirm that the man who died following a collision in Waringstown on Thursday evening, 24th November was 65-year-old Paul Grant from the Portadown area.”
Sergeant McIvor from the Collision Investigation Unit added: “Paul sadly died at the scene in the Moss View area after he was struck by a lorry at around 5.45pm.
“We are continuing to appeal for information and anyone who may have captured dash-cam footage of the collision can get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 1460 of 24/11/22.”
The police added that information can also be submitted online using their non-emergency reporting form at http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
The incident happened in the Moss View area of the village resulting in the road being closed for several hours.
The family are understood to have asked that no further details or images of Mr Grant are released.
