Warhammer stamps to recognise 'institution' of one of Nottinghamshire's most successful companies

New stamps will recognise the 'institution' created by one of Nottingham's most successful companies. Royal Mail has announced 10 special stamps will be issued to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the internationally popular Warhammer miniatures, created by Lenton-based tabletop gaming giant Games Workshop.

First produced in 1983, Warhammer quickly became the most successful table-top miniatures in history, garnering millions of fans across the globe. Helen Smallridge, Global Head of Marketing at Games Workshop, said the new stamps were a way to treat enthusiasts and interest those who may not be aware of the huge brand.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Royal Mail to mark the 40th anniversary of Warhammer," Ms Smallridge said.
