Staff at Nottingham-based Games Workshop have been sharing in its success after its profits jumped by at least £4 million in the most recent financial year. The Warhammer World creator said it had paid £10 million to its staff as they share in the business’s profit following its recent success.
The Lenton-based firm said pre-tax profit is thought to have reached no less than £155 million in the year to May 29, up from £151 million a year earlier.
The company creates fantasy miniatures which are popular all around the world with collectors and gamers. Its Nottingham headquarters in Willow Road is home to more than 1,000 staff, according to the company's Linkedin page. There staff design miniatures, games, books, paints, brushes and all the other products.
